Mike and Cel's Visit: Saturday

Here is a picture of handsome Cory.

Mario on the tricycle.

Cute picture of Jared and Jenny.

The fire. Dad with Tyler and Skyler (Heathers youngest).

This is how Tyler really felt about the fire.

Oh my gosh, isn't this the cutest picture ever??? Here is cute Noah, Mario, and Jason.

They aren't having fun anymore.

Classic Jessi-poo.

and

Cute Noah.
Mike, Cel, Jared, Jenny, Mario, Jessica, and Sam arrived last night around 7:00. We had a wonderful dinner at Mom and Dad's house and visited with them until everyone was ready to crash. Today, we met up with everyone in Idaho Falls and went out to dinner with the whole Idaho family. Then, we went to Julie and Brad's for some more visiting in their awesome backyard. Brad even made a campfire in the fire pit. It was fun to have every one together and to see some cousins I haven't seen in a long time. Tomarrow, we are planning on going to church with Grandma and having dinner at her house. Its going to be fun.

Sweet baby

One of my favorite things about babies is watching them sleep. I know that sounds weird, but I just love watching Jason sleep. When it's quiet in the house and Tyler is in bed and we are slowing down for the night, I just love holding Jason in my arms and watching his angelic face. He has no worries....except when his next meal is. He just makes me feel so peaceful inside.
He makes me feel so proud to be his mamma.

BIKES!!!

Here we are standing by our new beauties.

Tyler loved riding on the seat behind Cory, but we had to take it off and put Ty in a trailer instead because he is too big for the seat. He does like the trailer too though.

Last month Cory and I bought new bikes. We are so excited. We've been wanting to get in shape for awhile now and this is one method that we love doing and we can do together. We've been riding everywhere. I rode to work...once. but at least I made it. Cory rides every day to work and we all try to go out for a few miles a couple times a week. If you're familiar with Pocatello, I made it up the Benton street overpass too. I was so proud of myself. It's been really fun. Tyler loves riding with us. We've had to use a bike ride as a bribe for him sometimes, and sometimes he's gotten his bike ride taken away. He loves it though. It been a fun exercise for us and hopefully we'll be able to ride farther by next summer.

Yes, that is a McDonalds you see in the background. And yes, we were trashy enough to ride our bikes to McDonalds, eat, and ride home.

We had to get the Star Wars happy meal. They were giving away Star Wars bobble heads. Who can't resist a Star Wars bobble head....certainly not us.

Tyler likes his fries and hamburger.

Rattle anyone....or any baby!!

Cory thought he was being so funny when he put this maraca in Jason's hand. It was funny because Jason had such a hard grip on it. He was shaking it and shaking it. We were all getting a kick out of it, even Tyler. Until he realized it was his toy we were playing with, then he wanted it back. Jason didn't really enjoy it. If you couldn't tell by the lok on his face.

Family

My three boys, oh my three boys!!

Me and my Tyler.

He was blowing raspberries (or flubbers as we call them) on my cheeks.

Here we are about to put Tyler down to bed. We were having so much fun just hanging out in his room. Did you notice..............he has girl sheets. I think it is funny.

SMILE

He's so stinking cute!!'

Yes, I finally did it. I got pictures of Jason smiling. He has such a beautiful little smile. I just love trying to make him laugh and smile. Tyler sees me trying to make faces and Jason and so, he does it too. I love his wide open mouth laugh too. It's hard to get a picture of it, but I'll keep trying. He's such a fun baby!!

Twin Falls Temple

Tyler and his cousins Allie and Makayla.

Our family in front of the temple!!

Last weekend we went and toured the Twin Falls Temple. It gets dedicated next week. It was beautiful. I really liked the painting Leon Parsons did. It was of Shoshone Falls. Tyler liked the deer. It was nice to be able to take Tyler at such a young age so he can see what a temple looks like. We had a good time. It's worth seeing. The drive isn't too bad either.

Dollar store sun glasses

We've always wanted to get Tyler a pair of sunglasses. We've tried once before but they got lost a few days later. So, Cory found these awesome orange ones at the dollar store. We had hope. Tyler at least kept them on his eyes for 10 minutes. But, we had to stop at a gas station. While we were waiting for Cory, Tyler got bored, and SNAP, they broke. At least they were only a dollar and now we know he is not quite ready for sunglasses.

Ouch

A few weeks ago Tyler got his finger smashed in the kitchen door. Cory had moved his other hand and we think Tyler must have snuck this hand under and then Whamm-o. This is what happened. Now he goes around telling everyone and showing everyone his smashed finger. Even at church he showed the people sitting behind us his smashed finger.

Farmers Market

Our B.A.S. Thanks Melanie for the term.

I'm excited for the Farmers Market.

Jason wasn't happy unless we were constantly moving.

A few weeks ago we woke up somewhat early and walked to the nearby farmers market. I guess we didn't get up early enough. There was nothing there. Well, a few booths were still set up, but nothing too exciting. It was a nice family outing though.

Homemade Gyros

Cory found this lamb/beef mixture meat at Winco and so we had to make Gyros. And you always have to have fries and a soda with them. They were fabulous. I loved it. Cory does such a good job cooking dinner for us. I'm so glad I'm married to such a talented man. So, Brian and Krista, next time we see you....are you ready for some homemade Gyros? It is so worth it. I think I want them again..!!!

Tyler chasing Juliette around the island in the kitchen. Tyler loved it.

Sledding down the hill in the backyard.

Mr. Popular

Jenni and Ted came for a little visit a few weekends ago. We had fun visiting with them. We were lucky to have Brian and Krista in town too. It was a fun filled weekend. We went sledding down the hill...not just the kids, the adults too, we played the Wii, and just sat and visited. It was a lot of fun.

The boys

Tyler is doing so much better with Jason. He doesn't get nearly as jealous as he was getting. Tyler is pretty funny around Jason. He'll coo and caa at him and use a soft voice to talk to him. Then, he wants to kiss him all of the time. We had to give Tyler a time out from kissing Jason a couple of times. And Jason, boy is he getting big. I can't believe how fast he's grown up.

Cherry Springs

We live near this place called Cherry Springs. Its has a paved walk way that you can walk or hike on. Its very beautiful. Tyler really enjoyed being in the outdoors and so did we.
