A few days ago Cory was replacing our shower head and had Tyler helping him with the project. Tyler had asked Cory how much tape he needed. Plumbers tape to be exact. Tyler immediately answered his own question and says to Cory, "You need a yard and a half dad." Cory yells down to me that he thinks I may be taking him to the fabric stores too much since he know how to say a yard in a half. HA HA!!!

Young Womens

So as a few of you already know, I have been called to serve as the Young Women's 1st Counselor in our ward. I have only been in this calling for a few weeks now and so far it has been very rewarding. The girls are so wonderful. I gave my first lesson on Sunday and was a touch nervous. But, they participated very well and I know some of them were touched by the spirit. I know I was called for a reason. I have a lot they can learn from and I know I can learn from them as I have already found out these past few weeks. I am quite excited about being in the Young Womens again.

So ADORABLE.....
So I think Jason is just the cutest little guy ever. He is so much fun. He's still pretty mellow. He is only really loud if Tyler is bugging him and if he is tired. Other than that, he's a pretty quiet little guy. He is pretty determined not to walk quite yet. We've been trying. He can walk while holding on to just one of our fingers. But, if we dare let go of that one finger, he sits down and crawls. I think its kind of funny. He's a whopping 27 lbs now....woo hoo. I've said this before, but I just can't believe how fast babies grow up. He is my little cuddle monkey so that helps a lot. I love all his hugs. He has learned how to kiss, but, he will kiss you open mouthed on the cheek and lips, so watch out.
Girls Night OUT!!!
Last week a few of my lady friends and I went to a movie together without husbands or children. Out of all the movies we could see, we chose....STAR TREK. I think it's funny. I had already seen it once and my friend Nellie had seen it twice already. I enjoyed just as much the second time around as the first. It was so much fun. I laughed pretty hard. It was a nice break out with my friends. I loved it.
Sleepover
We had our very first sleepover a few weekends ago. Melissa and Nathan needed to attend an 8:00 am wedding in Idaho Falls and wanted to know if we wanted to keep the girls over night or have them dropped off really early. We decided to have them over for the whole night. Tyler and Jason were already in bed when they arrived which made it easier for us. Then, it was time to get the girlies asleep. They were pretty talkative at first. So, I finally went upstairs to shower. But they came upstairs not too long after. Allie was afraid of the shadows some flowers were making. And, Brian's painting scared her too. So, after my shower, I went and laid down with them until they fell asleep. I don't know how long it took because I feel asleep too. It was pretty fun. I really liked curling their hair and letting them pick out a hair bow from my collection to match their outfit for the day. It was a pretty fun night and morning for us. Tyler keeps asking when Allie and Kayla are going to sleep downstairs again. He really liked waking up and having his cousins there.
It was so fun. It was like having a girl party.
Zoo
A few weeks ago I joined a couple of friends and we went to the Idaho Falls zoo. All I have to say is that it was quite the adventure. We had 3 moms, 3 three year old's, 3 one year old's, and a 7 year old. Holy smokes was it a crazy day. The kids saw this awesome park by the zoo and didn't really want to go to the zoo after that, then, it was hot. Really really HOT. The poor kids were red and sweating just as much as us mommies. I do have to say, it was pretty fun. I think we lost our minds when we took all the kids to the mall park. I think we all just about lost it there. I do have to say that I really enjoyed spending time with my wonderful friends. It was a nice break from our normal routine.
Tyler liked running around the zoo. He was a little disappointed that there were no elephants or giraffes there.
Tyler liked petting the goats. I think the petting zoo was the kids favorite part of the zoo. I know Tyler liked it a lot.

Amy and Tyler's Reception
The reception was actually supposed to be in Scot and Laurie's back yard, but due to the rain, it ended up at the church. I thought it turned out beautiful. And, Tyler played in the nursery almost the whole time and so we got to enjoy the reception without a 3 year old screaming and running around like a crazy pants.
This is what happens when you take a little 3 year old to a wedding reception.....MELTDOWN MANIA!!! This happened a lot, so we just let him play in the nursery the whole time and we checked on him ever 10 minutes or so. He was such an angel in there.
Amy and Tyler with all of their nieces and nephews. It was a hard shot to get. Some children...not mine, of course... weren't cooperating very well.
When we were cleaning up, the gazebo top was on the floor and so we put it over Jason. He loved it. I thought it was a good place for him too. HA!!
In between randomnesses....
Grandma Saunders and Jill.
After the wedding we stopped by Jill's house to see Grandma Saunders. It had been awhile since we saw them. It was so much fun to see her. I think Grandma and Jill were both glad that we had stopped by.
Grandma and Jason. He liked watching her and he kept crawling over and putting his hands on her lap. It was cute.
