Family Pictures

I don't like my neck, but I will live. The picture is pretty cute of everyone.

Amy sent us these pictures from her wedding. I think they turned out pretty cute. I'm excited to finally have a new family picture and we're all wearing coordinating colors. Sweet. And, did you notice that I am actually wearing a dress? Yes, a dress!!! This is the first dress I have worn since our wedding. I am not a dress person, but this one was like $5 at Sears and it fit....perfect for a wedding.

Outdoor festival in Boise

After the Boise Art Museum, we headed outside for a lot of activities that they had set up. There was a lot of family oriented activities. I thought it was fun.

Krista rocked at the hula hooping. She was pretty good.

Ben trying to hula.

It took me a few tries, but I did it. I should go buy a hula hoop. It gave me such a work out....HA!

This was awesome. A man had a motor running and it was hooked to a pump that was hooked to all these pipes. The kids loved turning on and off all the different brass faucets. I thought it was cool too.

If we let them, they probably would've stayed here all day.

Here is a full shot. Isn't it cool?

Everyone loved it.

Tyler ringing the bell on an antique fire truck. It was so loud. I shouldn't have stood right next to him when he rung it.

Here is another firetruck. We got in trouble for sitting on this one. Apparently we weren't supposed to sit on it. It is a cute picture though.

This activity Tyler was supposed to throw the arrow into the hoops. Instead, he grabbed the arrow and walked over to the hoops and put it through the hoop. Ha...I thought it was funny.

Madison and Tyler playing another game together.

There was a Medieval Festival going on and we enjoyed watching the Knights fight.

Krista, Madi, and Ben on a lovely paddle boat ride.

After our busy day, we ended up eating at the Cheesecake Factory and had a lovely dinner. The kids were so well behaved. It was awesome. It was Cory's first time eating there and we totally converted him into a fried macaroni and cheese lover. We also took home some cheesecake. So worth it.

Boise Art Museum

Next, we headed to the Boise Art Museum. It was awesome. They had an art museum there that the artist created sculptures out of cardboard, paper, glue sticks, and staples. We were able to do a family art project together with those supplies.

Ben and Madi working on their projects.

Here are me, Tyler, and Madi's projects.

Jason having fun in his stroller.

Krista was having fun making art.

Madison made a few things. It was fun.

Me and my awesome animal with a crown.

Madi with one of her projects. It is beautiful.

Krista is so proud of her sculpture.

My flower. It was kind of sad, because the kids and Brian and Cory went to the childrens part of the museum and Krista and I ended up making more art projects by ourselves. It was kind of funny. Very soothing for both of us.

Krista with the pirate telescope she made for Ben.

Madi and Tyler were playing so good together. Here is Madi teaching Tyler how to play a kaleidoscope computer game.

Oh my gosh, isn't Ben so cute. I love his smile in these pictures.

Ahhh....

So cute!!!!

The wall of magnets....awesome. I think we need one of these walls in the boys room. They would play for hours.

Jason sure loved it.

Botanical Gardens in Boise

After sleeping at Amy and Tyler's house, we headed to Boise for a day of museums for Free Museum Day. We met Brian and Krista at the Botanical Gardens first. It was a little disappointing, but also interesting. There was a wedding party so we couldn't see all of the gardens. I liked the scarecrows they had set up.

Tyler and Ben at a sculpture in the gardens.

My favorite scarecrow. She's winking, has a hot pink scarf, and flowers...fantastic.

Brian liked this one. She reminded me of Cruella De Ville.

Amy and Tyler's house in Mountain Home

Last Friday night we spent the night at Amy and big Tyler's house in Mountain Home. It was nice visiting with them and seeing them.

Jason trying to get something off of a shelf.

Big Tyler and Amy gave this new toy to little Tyler for his birthday. He loves it. It is really noisy though.

It is a police officers motorcycle helmet and handle bars. He runs around the house pushing the buttons and pretending he's a police officer.

Officer Miles.

Ouch!

Tyler trips outside on our back porch and landed right on the edge of the step. He really scraped his side up.

Ouch!

He cried and cried....poor kid,

Jason

Jason is growing like a weed. He is becoming more and more mobile. One of his favorite things to do is turn on and off the computer. It's very annoying for us. He loves his brother Tyler and says Ta Ta when he wants him or wants him around. He is still a picky eater and eats mostly meaty things. He loves turkey lunch meat. He loves baths. Jason also is brave..oh no. He's not afraid to climb up the toys at the playground and he will slide down the slide by himself.

How cute is he.

I love this picture of Jason.

We love him.
