Merry Christmas!!!

We wanted to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!!

I love me!!

I have always taught the boys how important it is to love yourself. I was so touched that Tyler wrote this on a drawing that he drew. It was a very proud moment for me as a mom. I love him so much.

Bunkbeds

I am so extremely thrilled that these beds are finished. Cory found instructions online and made them all by himself. I haven't painted them yet, they are so heavy. So maybe during the summer. I am thinking of cream or brown and distressing them like crazy. I have matching bedding and the boys are getting matching blankets for Christmas. I am so happy with how they turned out. Cory did a really good job on them. He is so talented and I am lucky he was able to make this.

Bows

I have been super busy trying to figure out how to make these new kind of bows. Once I did...I was on a roll. I think I made 53 bows. I love to make them. Now, what to do with them.

Thanksgiving

We hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. We had a really long day. We started at Mom and Dad's house and visited with them and Jenni and Ted. Then, we went to a church and had dinner with the Miles. It was a very eventful day. We are grateful for the blessing we have in our lives and for the family we have.

Staples

My poor little Jason had to go the E.R. to get staples in his head. He had been in the time out chair and knocked himself over by kicking off the wall. He had big gash in the back of his head. We felt pretty bad. Now the kids don't ever want to be in time out again. Ha ha.

He was quite the trooper for the 10 days he had them in. He was so careful about his head. He was very worried about sleeping because he didn't want to bleed on his pillow. What a sweetie pie.

Ahhhhh

So I have been experimenting with my hair lately and trying new ways to curl it. I have the Hobbs super fine hair. I have to use hot rollers everyday or else my hair sticks so flat to my head...well one night I decided to use foam rollers that you sleep in...this was the result. An Afro..it was a little insane. Tyler still laughs about it. He thought I was funny.

The boys!!!

Oh these boys sure do bring us so much joy and happiness. They are so awesome. Tyler has really come along ways since we started medicating him. He is so funny. It's almost like all his anxieties he had before have gone away and his true personality is really starting to shine more. He says the funniest things and is a real sweetheart. We are so proud of him and the hard work he has accomplish. Hopefully he will continue to do well. Jason is just a little sweetheart as well. He is my little sidekick while Tyler is at school. He likes to help me around the house and when I coupon. He has learned how to climb up onto the cupboard though..and that is not a good thing. The boys are best friends and play really well together. We love them and are so blessed to be a part of their lives.

Brooklynns Playground

A new playground was recently built here. The sun was shining, so I went ahead and took the boys to it. It is a huge playground. We had fun running around, going down all the slides, and playing the musical instruments they had there. It is all enclosed and like I said...HUGE.

We were there for 2 hours. It was a blast.

Jason's favorite thing there...the TRAIN. Of course it was!!!

First Snow

I thought these pictures were so funny. The boys were moving so much and jumping up and down that they didn't turn out very well. But, this was of the first real snow we've had this year. Like I said, the boys were screaming and jumping up and down. They were so very excited that it was snowing. All they were talking about was the snowman they wanted to build. Ha ha.

It's Halloween!!!

I bought these costumes for $1 each last year after Halloween..what a great deal!!! I thought the kids were extra cute in them. Jason really enjoyed being Bumblebee and Tyler loves Optimus Prime.

Makes me laugh. They are way too cute.

Halloween Fun!!

Silly Jason.

The weekend before Halloween, I was really sick, so Cory took the boys to my parents house for a little Halloween fun. Here are the kiddoes covering their eyes, waiting for Grandma to give them their Halloween treat. I know the boys had a blast. It's so nice when they get to play with their cousins.

Playing with Papa

Here are the boys with Papa Dan...blowing bubbles outside. I think this was one of the last fall activities we did. It's getting pretty cold now. They really like playing with grandpa though.

Uh OH!!!

This is the result I came up with for Tyler writing...with pen..on the computer monitor. He had scribbled a circle on the right corner of the monitor. I went into panic mode after water wouldn't take it out. I googled it and found out that rubbing alcohol will take it out. So, I got a cotton ball and gently rubbed the screen...yes....success. And we won't have to buy a new monitor. Cory was upset by that. He really wanted a newer, bigger model. Men.

Family Fun

A few weekends ago Cory had some extra time off, so we decided to be a little spontaneous and we went on a mini vacation to Salt Lake City. We wanted to go out of town and relax for a night or two....

OGDEN TRAIN STATION

Our first stop was for Jason. The train Museum in Ogden. He was so excited and happy. He loves trains and his eyes were so bright and cheery the whole time we were there.

Jason and a model train.

Tyler likes trains too!!

Pushing control buttons.

By rail road ties.

There was a little play area that the kids can sit on train cars, Tyler liked this one.

They had a wooden train set set up that Jason loved playing with.

ALL ABOARD!!

The real trains outside.
Jason was afraid to climb on these big, real trains. Tyler loved climbing all over them though

DINOSAUR PARK

Our second stop on our adventures was to the Dinosaur Park. This was mostly for Tyler who loves dinosaurs. We have been here before, but it was just as fun this time around as it was last time. Jason was a little hesitant of the noises, but he soon realized that the dinosaurs weren't real and there was nothing to be afraid of.

The boys...they are so brave standing next to that dinosaur.

Love my Tyler.

Cory and I had a lot of fun too. It wasn't very crowded or very hot, it was a perfect time to come. The boys loved it.

AIRPORT INN

We stayed at the Airport Inn for a really cheap price. We loved our bed though. The kids loved swimming in the pool and after a long day, I couldn't resist taking this picture. They are so cute cuddled up sleeping.

LIBERTY PARK

After a good nights rest, we decided to go to to Liberty Park. We are sure glad we did too.
There was a fun little water park there that we let the kids get soaked in. They had so much fun running through the water and getting wet.

Jason is on the other side of the water.

Here is Tyler climbing on a turtle.

Too bad we didn't know to bring swimming suits.

At another part of the ginormous park, they had a fountain park. Kids were playing all over in the fountains. Part of them were under construction, so they were only able to play in one area. It was sooo neat though. We want to go back.

At this same area, we found the ferris wheel that was filmed in the movie Charly. Tickets were only a dollar to ride, so we all rode on it.

Jason is ready and excited.

Tyler is ready.

Do you see us in the picture?

Tyler looking down at Cory, I couldn't do it. I had motion sickness really bad...I am a wimp.
