Jason

Jason is growing like a weed. He is becoming more and more mobile. One of his favorite things to do is turn on and off the computer. It's very annoying for us. He loves his brother Tyler and says Ta Ta when he wants him or wants him around. He is still a picky eater and eats mostly meaty things. He loves turkey lunch meat. He loves baths. Jason also is brave..oh no. He's not afraid to climb up the toys at the playground and he will slide down the slide by himself.

How cute is he.

I love this picture of Jason.

We love him.

Tyler turns 4

Party #1: FRIENDS

This year, I decided to let Tyler have a friend party. I think he really liked it. It was a little overwhelming for me, but in the end I think everyone had a good time. He had, Jordyn, Ryan, baby Allyson, Boyd, Blythe, Tate, Canton, and Oran come. It was a house full, but it was worth it. We had fun.

Here are all the kids having a blast outside...eating cake and just playing around.

Tyler likes to sit on his bike, but he doesn't know how to pedal yet.

This is Ryan, Tyler's friend who is almost 2 years old.

All the mom's....Laura, Nellie, Caranna, and Sam.

Cute picture of Jason.

He had fun watching the other kids.

Tyler and Boyd.

I found these cupcake liners at Party Palace. I was so excited. Tyler loves Transformers. He also wanted a pink cake. Ha Ha!!! I gave him a pink cake because he threw a fit. I thought it was funny.

PARTY #2: FAMILY

Grandma and Papa Hobbs, Grandma and Papa Miles, Byron and Kathy, and David and Ashley came to celebrate Tyler's big day with us. We had Transformer cupcakes again. This time they were chocolate instead of pink strawberry.

Tyler got a big wheel...yeah. Hopefully it will teach him how to pedal.

I bought Tyler this sleeping bag a few months ago when I worked at Sears. It cost me $3. Awesome deal.

What a happy birthday boy!!!

Me and my beautiful mom.

The big wheel. I remember having one of these when I was a kid. We would race up and down the streets. I had one just like this.

Jason likes it too.

Grandpa Hobbs gave Tyler these Bakugons. They are little balls that pop open into little monsters when you drop them. Tyler loves them. I have to admit, they are pretty cool toys.

Pranks on the Cardon's

Our friends, Laura and Aaron Cardon are moving to Portland next week. We are so sad that they are leaving but so happy for them as they are getting ready for a new adventure in their lives. Cory and I decided to pull a few pranks on them before they left.

Prank #1: Laura

I had called a lot of people in the ward who were friend with Laura and told them to meet us at Perkins at 6:30. At, 6:00, Sam, Nellie, and I went to Laura's to surprise her. I decided to wear a ski mask because I thought it would be funny. Aaron said he would leave the door open for us, so I barged in first. I think everyone was laughing too hard to be scared....well, except Blythe. I scared her bad. Aaron said that He clung to him for 3 hours. I do feel bad about that.

Running into Laura's house.

I yelled in my manly voice..."You're coming with us Laura!!"

Poor, Poor Blythe.

Laura and Andrea.

Me, Laura, and Andrea.

Sam, Laura, and Nellie.

Prank #2: Aaron

Aaron really loves to watch "The Office" and since Cory and Aaron work in an office together Cory decided to pull his own little Jim prank on Aaron. Aaron left for home for the evening and once he left, Cory wen tot work. He had some packing plastic and wrapped Aaron's chair and desk. It was funny. So, in the morning Aaron would come into his office for a surprise.

Ha Ha HA!! I think the pictures are hilarious.

Good prank, good prank!!!
We will miss you Laura and Aaron. You have been such a wonderful example to us in the way you value church, marriage, and family. You have helped us in ways that you will never know. I hope that we can someday be as strong as you. We can't wait to visit you in July where we have a couple more things planned up our sleeves for you!!! WAAA HAAA HAAA HA!!!!

Cupcakes

A few weeks ago my friend Laura and I made these Bakerella cupcakes for Young Women's. They look like hamburgers. I think they're so funny. We also made sugar cookies that looked like french fries. I only have this one picture, but I think they are great. They were a big hit too.

First day of Preschool

We decided to put Tyler in preschool this year although he will have two years until kindergarten. He is so excited to go to school. He loves it so far and his teacher says that he is pretty good in class. I know that preschool will be good for him. I think I was a little more excited than he was to start school though.

Tyler was being such a ham, he wouldn't hold still for me to take a picture.

He was excited to go to Ms. Jenny's preschool.

Brand new shirt and pants for his first day.

Awesome Bumblebee backpack...he loves Bumblebee! Tyler frequently says, "Bumblebee is my favorite." He says it when he's taking a bath, at the store, in the most random places. Kind of funny.

Way to pose Tyler.

Who taught him how to cock his hip to the side like that.....? Hmmmm.

CUTE CUTE CUTE

Aren't these boys so cute???? I think these pictures turned out pretty well.

The first and last one are my very favorite ones.

Our state fair is a grand state fair, don't miss it, don't even be late!!!

On Labor day, we were able to take the boys to the fair. It was crazy. I think we went on the busiest day ever. It was so crowded. I know Tyler had a lot of fun though. He loved looking at the cows and horses and just running around.

The boys by the cows.

Tyler was so excited.

Jason liked his balloon and I thought it was a funny picture.

Tyler trying to lasso a cow.

Riding the tractor, but he got frustrated because he doesn't quite know how to peddle yet.

This is funny. This was Tyler's most favorite thing to do at the fair.

Yes, that is him, milking a fake cow. It was just water coming out, but he loved it. He would've milked her for hours if we let him.

Tyler exploring the sauna's a vendor was selling. They were so hot, I can't believe he sat in one.

Poor Jason, we wore him right out.
