Christmas Morning

This is the first time in 2 years that we have had Christmas morning at our own house. I was so excited all December long. I think I was more excited than the boys were. It was kind of funny because Tyler came into our room to wake us up and he didn't really know it was Christmas morning. I asked him if we should go downstairs and he said, no, lets get ready first. I thought it was funny. So, instead of doing our normal morning activities, we went downstairs in our pajamas.

Once Tyler realized that it was Christmas, he was so excited.

Santa left the boys a stocking full of toys and goodies. It took them a least an hour just to get through the stockings. They wanted to touch and play with everything.

Jason looks so serious.

My three boys..

Jason is excited now.

After eating some breakfast, we finally opened our presents.

Dinosaur puppets. They absolutely love these. They will both put some on their hands and growl at each other. It is so cute.

I crocheted these hats for the boys. I am so happy to see that Tyler was excited about it.

So cute.

Tyler picked out this hat for Cory at Kohls.

The cute turtle blanket that I made for the boys. They each got one made out of different turtle material and they are shaped as turtles.

Cory's orange hat.

My turn.

My orange hat is much more girly than the boys hats.

It was a really good Christmas this year. I had such a blast on Christmas morning. It was so nice to be in our own home. The boys were so cute and had so much fun too.

FIVE GUYS BURGER AND FRIES

It's here, it's here, it's here......yes, Pocatello now has a Five Guys Burger and Fries. We are so excited. They are so good. They are one of our favorite places to eat. I just can't believe we have one in Pocatello. Yeah.

Cory eating is little 'all the way' burger.

Tyler loves their fries and grilled cheese sandwiches.

Jason loves the sandwich too.

Don't those fries look so good.

Santa Clause

I took the boys to the mall to see Santa Clause. It went a lot better than I thought it would. Jason was hesitant to sit on his lap, but he didn't cry. And Tyler would hardly look at him. He would only whisper and you could hardly hear what he was saying. At least we had no screaming boys. And, they even let us take a couple pictures with our own camera. Yeah!!

Cute boys

It has been a month or so since my last post. The boys are growing up so fast. They are starting to play better with one another and are becoming good friends. Tyler still loves preschool and Jason loves to play, play, play. He is our little snuggle bug and loves to cuddle and be held. They are just so much fun to have around.

I love this picture of Jason. It shows his personality so much. He is so happy and loves to laugh.

He is so cute.

This is a really good picture of Tyler too. He is so tender hearted and he loves his brother so much.

Tyler and that tongue.

Jason's Christmas List

Here are the items on Jason's list. Tyler pretty much told me exactly what Jason wanted. I thought it was funny.

1. A baby toy
2. A house
3. A ball
4. A toy truck
5. Candy
6. Teddy Bear

Jason didn't know what to do with his list.

Tyler's letter to Santa

I know, I am a little late getting to this blog post.
Tyler was so excited to write his letter to Santa this year. It was the first year that he has really gotten into Christmas. He was very curious about Santa and was worried he wouldn't come because we don't have a Chimney. He found our house just fine though. Here is Tyler's funny Christmas list.

How cute is he?? He was so excited about his list. I let him help Jason with his.

November

Seems like November came and went for us in a hurry. It seems as if we were sick for most of the month with a few days that we were feeling okay. Thanksgiving was wonderful. We were able to go to my Mom and Dad's house to celebrate with Jenni and Ted and their family and Julie and Brad with their kids as well. Grandma and Connie were there as well. I forgot my camera that day so I don't have pictures of the day. Then, for Black Friday I woke up bright and early for my yearly trek to JoAnn's. I was 5th in line and stood in the cold for an hour. I was so glad when Mom got done at Walmart early so that she could join me for the craziness. It was a real miracle because we were first in the cutting line and only had to wait in the regular line for 30 minutes or so. I think that was the fastest we've ever been in and out on Black Friday. I did go back later that day and had to wait for a couple of hours. Good thing I was with a friend so it didn't seem as long. I really can't believe that it is already December. I am so excited for Christmas this year. Tyler is really into this year and keeps asking about different things. I have a toy nativity set that seems to be his favorite toy to play with since we decorated. I also have 3 regular nativity's set up and he keeps getting the baby Jesus out of them and he kisses them. It's so cute and touching to see. Kids make Christmas time so much more fun and so much more special.

Halloween day!

For Halloween this year, we went to our friends, the Hardcastle's for Orange dinner and donuts. Yummy. Orange dinner this year was Macaroni and cheese, mandarin oranges, and Costco Hot dogs. YUMMY!!!

Jason likes his orange dinner.

Tyler right after he ate.

Here is the lovely donuts that Sam and I made.

Don't they look delicious. Chocolate, almond, and maple frosting...ohhh soooo good.

Tyler and his friend Jordyn.

Roar.

They are best friends.

Master Yoda.

Since Jason doesn't quite walk yet, he got stuck in the stroller. He was cute holding onto his bag though. He really loved it.

Trick or Treat.

This is the big group we went with.

Cute Jason in the leaf pile in front of the Hardcastle's home.

We made our way to Mom and Dad's house who gave Jason and Tyler these swords that were taken over by Cory and Altan. Boys will be boys.

TRUNK or TREAT

This is the first year that we actually went to our own wards Trunk or Treat. First, we headed to the gym for some soup and cornbread. There was so much soup there and a lot of them were oh so good. I had fed the boys before hand because Tyler tends not to eat in front of a big group of people. So, he just ran around and did activities with all the other excited kids. Then, we went outside for the Trunk or Treat. Cory walked the boys around while I passed out candy.

Here is our little Chinese boy and his pet dragon.

Our friends, Colby, Nelly, and Kaylie.

Tyler, Jordyn, and Ryan.

We had so much fun.

When we got home, the boys were so tired.

We let them have one treat before heading to bed....
of course, they chose suckers. Their favorite candy.
