As everyone knows, Cory really likes to cook. He is such a wonderful chef. Lately he has been trying to perfect a dish that is inspired by Olive Garden's Braised Beef and Tortellini..he has made his version and few weeks in a row now...I have been eating way too good. Also, Jason and Tyler just love to cook with him. It is cute the way that Cory teaches them how to cook. Jason now knows that anytime Dad is cooking he is welcome to get his stool and help out. He loves it.

Autism Awareness Day
We are way late posting these...but on April 1st and 2nd it was WAAD (World Autism Awareness Day). We all dressed in our blue shirts and blue jeans to support the cause. We even picked out a blue light bulb for the porch. We taught the kids about Autism and about their cousin Grant who has Autism. It was a great few days to learn more about Autism and to show our support.

Boys and their TOYS!
Girls WEEKEND!!
Oh yes, you read that right. I went on a little retreat with my best girly-friends to SLC last weekend. It was awesome. My friend Annelise's Dad has a condo that he let us stay in. We had soooo much fun. It was a fun, relaxing weekend full of laughs, cries, and craziness.
US
We are so very excited because on April 13th, Cory will be getting his first set of crowns in. I am way excited. He is going to look so different and I know it will be a huge change for him. It was supposed to be last week, but had to be postponed until April. I will post pictures of him afterwards. I am very proud of Cory. He has received a promotion at work and he works very hard to support our little family. He is a good husband and father. And not to mention, very very funny!!! I love him.
As for me, nothing much has changed for me. I was nominated for parent of the year award at Head Start and if I win, I will receive $1000. I want to win. I just have to write a few essays. Wish me luck. I also love staying at home with the kids. They make me laugh on a daily basis. It has been such a great opportunity for me to be with them everyday. They teach me a lot.
Jason
Jason is such a big boy now. I can't believe he is almost 3 years old. He is definitely a sensitive little guy. He likes hanging around me and Cory and love to get his cuddle on still. I love it. Ge us getting taller and taller and more talkative. He love Thomas the Train and insists on wearing Thomas the Train almost daily. He only has a few shirts and jammies with him on it. He also likes to play with Tyler. They are always getting into mischief together.

FELT
Since Tyler has been showing a huge interest in bones and bodies, I decided to make him this felt body. His school has a life sized one so that is where I came up with the idea. Then, I googled it and found a pattern for free. YESSS!! I made two of them because I am going to give one to his individual classroom so that they can enjoy it all the time. He is going to love it.
Funny
I was in the kitchen getting a drink for Jason and I when I went back into the living room and couldn't find Jason. I called for him and I heard a giggle. He had decided that the laundry basket was a fun place for him to play. I laughed and he pretty much played with his toy in there for about an hour. Funny boys.
January
January came and went way too fast for us. We had a few things happen in January, first Cory and I had birthday's. Cory turned 33 and I turned 29. We gave each other the greatest thing we could ever imagine....CATAN. All of them. What a joyous day it was to play with all the Catan's. We love that game and are so happy to have all of them instead of having to borrow them from people. Also, Jason was tested for all legumes and animals. He is allergic to peas as well as all peanuts. So he cannot have green peas, split peas, chickpeas, and lentils. He is also very allergic to cats and dogs. We are very aware now and have had to give him benadryl and his inhaler when in contact. Poor kid.
Tyler is such a great kid. He loves school and asks almost everyday if he gets to go to school. He has matured so much in this last year. I am so proud of him. And, I wish he would quit sticking his tongue out right when I take a picture.

Head Start Art
Tyler's been really fascinated by anatomy lately and has especially been interested in learning about bones from Papa Dan. Turns out, that's still not the only piece of anatomy he's paying attention to...:
What a...prodigy?
