This is not a very good picture of Tyler for his first day of Sunbeams. It's all we had. We are not morning people.
Tyler is now an official Sunbeam. He loves it so much. We had to miss the first Sunday because both the boys were sick. So, the second Sunday of the year was Tyler's first day as a Sunbeam. We had to wake him up earlier than he normally wakes up because church is now at 9:00. He had a hard time waking up and then, we had to feed him so that he would be well behaved. I was really nervous because I didn't know how he would do. I just dropped him off at the door and then, the Primary President did the rest. She sat by him and said he was really good. Later I heard that he kept trying to escape. After I picked him up from class, he kept saying how much he liked it and wanted to go back to Sunday School. I can't believe he's growing up so much too. Tyler is such a sweet boy...a terror at times, but sweet for the most part.
Did I tell you how excited I was to see him!?
ReplyDeleteWe were a little late that Sunday. After I got Oran settled in nursery I headed to the Primary room with the older two.
We'd had some major issues the week before, Canton's first time in Sunbeams, but that Sunday went smoothly.
I was just so excited to see Tyler sitting there all dressed up and folding his arms!
9:00 IS early and it's been a struggle! I sure hope it gets easier! BUT I'm so proud of you!! Keep it up!
AND I hope this last Sunday was a good birthday for you!
Great posts. I can't believe Tyler is a Sunbeam. It won't be long now before he passes the sacrament. Mark my word.
ReplyDeleteThanks for all of the nice postings Ang.
I can't believe our kids our growing up so fast!! Allie's first day as a Sunbeam was harder on me. When she got home and I asked her what her teacher said, she said, "SHHH." Great!! Cute boys!!
