I am such a wierdo

I don't know why, but I like to take random pictures. Very random ones. So, her I am...don't be scared of the super duper close ups.

$1 store eye shadow...I know, I shouldn't admit that....but it actually works pretty good. Kind of crazy.

Jason

It's been awhile since I've shown pictures of my little Jason. I still can't believe he is already one year old. It is crazy to me. Jason loves playing and putting objects in containers. He likes to tear apart every single magazine we have....with the help of Tyler. They do make quite a disaster. Jason can climb up the stairs. He can't get down yet. He still doesn't walk on his own. He drinks Soy Milk. Cory and I both tried it and it really isn't that bad. It almost has a vanilla taste to it. And, the biggest milestone yet....Jason blew me a kiss yesterday...I loved it. I clapped so loud and was screaming and I was so excited. He hasn't done it again today. I think I scared him with how excited I was.

Tyler

This is one of Tyler's newest things to do. He will show you how old he is by holding up his last three fingers then making a circle with his thumb and pointer finger. After he is done, he has been putting it over his eyes. I think I see him do this almost everyday. It's kind of silly.

Hogle Zoo

With our season passes to the Dinosaur Park, we were able to go to Hogle Zoo for free. Yeah. It's included in the passes for the first Thursday of each month. Sooo, we were off to Utah for a fun family day. We ate at the Maddox on the way down which is always a treat, then, we went to the zoo.

Here are the boys in the B.A.S. We put Jason in the back even though it's roomier back there so that Tyler wouldn't hit him in the head or kick his seat. It really was quite a wonderful idea we had.

We are ready to see some animals, or aminals as Tyler calls them.

Here is a cool bird lady that told us all about the bird she was holding. It was kind of cool.

Little Turkey looking at a Turkey.

Tyler was so excited. He would hardly sit still for pictures.

His arms are so long.

Tyler was kind of scared to sit on top of this rhino, but he survived...at least long enough for a picture.

Jason liked the zoo too.

One of Tyler's favorite animals. He really likes zebras.

Cool bike we saw.

Tyler and I got to ride on the carosale. He rode on what he called "Master Tigris" and I rode on "Kung Fu Panda Bear."

Cute baby.

And we're off.

Where's the baby....

There he is.

Chesterfield!!

On Memorial Day I went went Mom and Dad to a little town called Chesterfield. It's only 45 minutes away or so. But, it's a little town that has been restored. It's actually quite cool. We were able to tour old houses and buildings. We were also going to go on a carriage ride, but it was a longish ride and we didn't have jackets for the boys and it was drizzling and was cold.

Here Tyler and I are making our own rope. He really liked it and he of course had to carry his rope everywhere we went.

Tyler really liked turning the handle.

A proud boy of his rope.

He lassoed some wood. Funny.

There were these cool old tractors that Tyler liked sitting on.

HA HA!! Every baby needs a bonnet....even if that baby is a BOY!!

Tyler liked playing with this wooden truck.

Here we are making our own butter. We even got to take it home with us in our cooler.

These girls were telling us all about the cellar...or bear cave as Tyler liked to call it.

Jason's birthday

It was Jason's 1st birthday on May 22. I was still feeling a little sick that day so we ended up having his party on Sunday. His cousins Allie and Kayla were there and Tyler too of course. Jason really didn't get the whole present thing so the other, older kids opened almost all of his presents for him. For only being 1 years old, Jason is one spoiled little guy. I made him a Martha cake of course. It was a vanilla cake with butter cream frosting. I totally forgot to take pictures of the cupcakes I made for everyone. They were so cute. They were the vanilla cupcakes, but then, I also made sugar cookies and cut them so they were round, then, I cut the letter J out of the middle for Jason's name. Like I said, they were really, really cute.

Tyler causing troubles before the party.

Jason doesn't even know what's going on.

Cute birthday outfit for a cute 1 year old.

Cute cousins...Tyler and Makayla!

Like I said, the bigger kids opened all of Jason's presents for him.

I thought Allie's hair was so funny in this picture.

What an adorable little birthday cake. His was two layers.

I am so talented. HA! Do you love my cookie with the J cut out of the center?

Such a happy little man.

Jason didn't even cry when we gave him the cake.

He actually ate some of it...and played a lot too.

All done.
