Our poor chair

I just thought everyone would get a kick out of the chair we've been using for a computer desk chair. A few weeks ago I fell over while sitting in the chair and I landed on the arm. It busted off into a million pieces. Its very sad when you go to prop yourself up, forget its missing an arm, lose your balance and almost fall over again. Its been like this for a few weeks now. To make matteers worse, our chair decided to get a rip on the seat. Do you think she's trying to tell us something??? Is it finally time to buy a new chair? I don't know if I'm ready for that kind of change...

Our chair, minus one arm rest.

Our poor chair. She served us well. Our backs and our butts owe her one big thank-you.

Hanging out with Jason

I'm very lucky and blessed that I have a job that lets me take Jason to work with me. It's been nice to have some alone time with him and that Cory gets to have some quality time with Tyler too. These are just some of the many pictures I have of Jason hanging out with me at work. I shouldn't say this, but Jason has tried on some pretty cute outfits at work...both girl and boy. Ha!! Ha!! He has such a fabulous head for big bows...HA!!!

New under-roos

Tyler has finally made it to underwear. Yeah. Grandma and Grandpa Hobbs gave him some Spiderman and Cars underwear for Valentines Day. He was a little nervous about them at first. Mom had him try on a pair, but he said that he wanted to just put on his other Cars underwear (Pull-ups). For the last few days I've been having him wear them for a few hours at a time. They seem to be making miracles. He will go to the potty all by himself and even wash his hands by himself. I am so excited for this milestone. Yeah for new underwear. He still does wear a diaper at night, but hopefully he will phase out of that soon.

Fancy-schmancey under-roos!!

Jason's crawling

Jason is really getting used to crawling around now. He really likes to get near the computer desk and pull on cords or find papers/mail that he can rib apart or put in his mouth. His new favorite is magazines. He will take one of my magazines and wrap his little body around it. He reminds me of a raccoon. He has his legs and his arms up in the air with the magazine and then he slowly rips it apart. It's pretty cute. Jason still will back himself into corners and under the couch. He gets a little frustrated when he does this. He also rolls himself all around the living room. He'll be at one end of the room, and I leave for just a moment and he's made his way to the other end. I really have to keep my eye on him now. He's growing up so fast.

Such a big boy on his hands and knees.

He's starting to back up.

His legs are getting near the couch.

Almost under it.

And, this is how Jason gets stuck underneath couches, beds, end tables, etc.

Tyler thought it would be fun to get stuck under the couch too.

The Potty Train

A few weeks ago we tried to potty train Tyler again, but he just kept saying that "I don't want to ride the Potty Train." So, we didn't push him. Well, a few days ago he started catching on to this whole potty training business. He has gone pee pee in the potty for 3 days now. And this morning, all on his own, he made a two-sie in the toilet. I don't know what other way to put it. He woke up with a wet diaper...first so far. He actually slept in this morning, so that is why I thought he was wet. Well, he asked to use the potty. And I was in my head thinking, "You were wet, you don't need to go." But, since we are potty training, I let him sit on the toilet. Then, I heard him say, "I did it, I did it." Again, in my head I was like, "No you didn't, you were wet". So, I took him off the toilet, and to my surprise, I saw.....well, you all know what I saw. I was so ecstatic. I hugged Tyler and he was so happy. Yeah for Tyler. He is doing so good using the potty. Hopefully we will have a trained little boy by next week.

Too cute

I really love this picture of the boys. Tyler is just peeking over Jason's face. I think I may put it in a black frame. Very cute. I am so talented. HA!

Where is Tyler hiding??

If I can't see you, you can't see me.

Tyler wanted to play a game with me, so I told him to go and hide and I would find him. He didn't hide all too well. I found him. Maybe he thought the pillows were hiding him. Who knows? Kind of funny though.

I like to eat my feet.

Lately Jason has found his feet. He will slowly pull off his sock with his mouth or teeth and then chew and/or suck on his big toe. He only does it with his right foot. I haven't seen him do it to his left foot yet. If you try to take the toe out of his mouth, he cries and gets mad. It's cute. I remember Tyler going through this stage as well. Too cute.

Yummy toe.

Funny full shot picture.

I am so flexible.

More random pictures of Ty

I think I've been taking way too many pictures of the boys lately if I have this many posting to post. Sorry that they aren't too exciting. I think Cory and I may be the only ones this excited to post so many pictures of our boys. They are super cute though.

I liked this photo of Tylers eyes. Too bad he is chewing on that dang dinosaur. It is Tyler though. He loves his dinosaurs.

Here is a cute one of Tyler in is hood again. Dang sweatshirt hood.

Jason

Jason's turn again for a lot pf pictures. I took these last week and then experimented with the effects. Again, I love all the black and white ones. There is just something cool about a b&w picture. Something old fashioned and magical. Here is an update on Jason....he is now almost 9 months old. He crawls...mostly backwards. He tends to get stuck underneath the table, the couch, end tables, and our coffee table. He back his little self underneath the the tables and then wants to lift his head up and he bangs it. He is funny with the backward crawl. He has scootched forward a little bit. Only when there is something worth the effort. He scootched forward this morning when he was trying to get a magazine that I kept inching just out of his reach. He finally has one tooth...almost. It is just peaking out of his gums, so it should be making more of an appearence soon. He is also sitting up better. He doesn't fall over nearly as much. He smiles all the time and his laugh is so contageous. We just love our little Jason. I still can't believe he is almost 9 months old.

This dinosaur cookie cutter has really become one of Jason's favorite toys. I gave him just the one and he loves it. Plus, it doesn't make noise or it doesn't make a huge mess. Sweet.

And, here are my favorite recent pictures of Jason.

Tyler

I thought these were some pretty cute pictures of Tyler. I've been having fun editing all the pictures I have and experimenting with effects. I really love black and white photos.

Intense eyes.

There is that cute smile again. Every time he wears this shirt, he insists on wearing the hood from the time he puts it on to the time he takes it off. That is why his hood is on.

Jason and his food

Jason is kind of a picky eater, unlike Tyler who pretty much eats anything. I've discovered that Jason will not eat baby oatmeal. I've tried it plain, tried it with juice, and I tried sneaking it in his green beans and peas. No matter what, he will not eat it. He also does not like pears to well. I hope this pickiness doesn't stick. We don't want a picky eater.

Jason loves his carrots though.

I can't get enough of them.

Yummy!!

Hurry up.

Cute faced boy.

I love my carrots.
