My two boys
What are those green marks on Jason's face?
I looked away for a few seconds and Tyler wrote on Jason's face. At least it wasn't too bad. Just a few marks and a smiling baby. Cute.

I like this picture of the boys because I was taking the picture of Tyler, but you can see Jason just a smiling and a smiling.
Molinellis Jewelry Store
Funny Story. I got a post card in the mail from Molinelli's Jewelry Store saying that they were having a ladies night with a lot of free stuff and you can look at all their jewelry collections. Well, I invited Amy to go since she was in the market for rings.....but just to make it clear, she is not engaged...yet. So, we waited in lline in the cold winter air and got our free gift bags full of chocolates, a christmas tree ornament, and a calander and then we looked around and put our names in drawing to win stuff. Both Amy and I fell in love with some brown pearls. I know brown. They were beautiful and expensive. Well, it was a fun evening...and what's that you ask? Did I win anything???? Why yes, yes I did. I won some glass knitting needles and I don't even know how to knit. They are pretty cool looking though.
Fancy smancey knitting needles. I really like the case. Do you think it's too big to hold my glasses in?
Letters to Santa
A few days ago my mother-in-law Laurie gave me these adorable letters with matching envelopes so that the boys could send a letter to Santa Clause. I sat down with Tyler and asked what he would like to ask Santa for. This is what he said.
Since Jason can't talk yet, I asked Tyler what he thought Jason would like for Christmas. This was pretty funny too.
Tyler was excited to mail his letter, but not as excited to see these electronic wire reindeers at the post office. I had to keep urging him to mail the letter.
There it goes.
Thanksgiving
I know, this post is a few weeks late. For Thanksgiving this year, we went to Cory's aunt and uncles house. Byron and Kathy made a wonderful feast. We had turkey, potatoes, awesome individual jell0o molds made by ours truly, and a ton of pie. It was fun to have the family all there to celebrate. We are blessed and thankful to live so close to many family member's and that we can see them frequently. On Friday I woke up at 4:00 and went out with Jenni and Ted to Wal-Mart. We sent my good mother to Shopko to pick some things up for us. She ended up going to like 3 or 4 different stores all while we were still at Wal-Mart. We really are crazy. I had to work a for a few hours after this and I was so tired that night. Then, on Saturday we had another party to attend. What a busy week.
Sick.
I was so mad. I made this crust and as you can tell, it didn't turn out at all. Then, Cory decides to try and make it. He made the most beautiful and perfect pie crust I had ever seen. It tasted and looked like heaven. That Cory.
Baby Jason. He's been grabbing his ear a lot lately. I don't know if he has an ear infection or just likes to grab his ear.

Christmas Quilts.
Cory's aunt passed away last year and she was an avid quilter. Well, I was able to get some super cute Christmas material from her. The Gingerbread quilt actually came from some Christmas Tree skirts that I got from Jane. I really liked the gingerbread, so I cut them out and made a cute Christmas quilt for Jason. I'm so excited too because I am using Melanie's idea this year and I made Jason a Gingerbread baby outfit. He's going to be adorable and he's going to love his quilt. Jane also had this snowman fabric that she gave me. These were just on a big long piece of fabric...kind of like a cheater quilt. I used some of the Christmas scraps I got from her as well and used them for a border around the Snowmen. I like how this one turned out as well. I don't know what I did wrong, but there are a few character flaws in the snowman quilt. The lines don't match up very well. I cut everything out and measured the fabric, but maybe I sewed them wrong. It's still super cute though.
Cookies of Catan!!!
Anyone who knows us, knows that Cory and I like playing games. Well, our good friends were having a party at there home and there were going to be 4-5 couples there and about 18 kids. Crazy. We decided late Friday to make "Cookies of Catan." We made the cookies out of pentagons, but we really needed hexagons. Cory and I both really got into making these cookies and perfecting them. We want to make them again. I think it turned out awesome.

Funny story. We didn't have anything big enough to put the cookies on, so we washed our end table really good and put the cookies on that and brought it to our friends house. They laughed pretty hard about it.
