Jason's first trip to the E.R.

Last Friday we don't' know exactly what Jason ate, but, he was coughing and wheezing, and his stomach was retracting, he was kind of gagging and acting like he was going to throw up...so we had to give him the Epi-pen shot. It was the first time he's ever had a reaction like that. I was a little nervous for him. The E.R. doctors said it was definitely the right thing to do. They had 2 respiratory specialist come and monitor him until he was stable. He was pretty lethargic at this point and pretty much laid there while they gave him breathing treatments and other liquid medicines.

Poor little thing. We are going to get him tested for more allergies as soon as he's feeling better. We know for sure he is allergic to all nuts, but we think and a pretty sure there are more foods he is allergic too.

This episode wiped him out.

A few hours later.....he is feeling much like him self and so much better.

He just wants to sleep now.

Crying because he didn't like the heart monitor on his foot.

Tyler's friend party

We let Tyler have a separate birthday party with his friends. He didn't really invite too many kids, just a few of his closest. I made an adorable Handy Manny cake..which he LOVED!!!

The top of the cake....Cory made the 5 and cut the dots out of the fondant.

I made all the Handy Manny tools a few days before hand. They were a lot harder than I thought they would be. They turned out pretty cute though.

Tyler was excited that all the tools were on the cake.

View of the whole cake.

This is Tyler's good friend Olivia. They play so well together.

Lance, Olivia, Jason, Tyler and Blake.

Tyler turns 5!!!

Tyler turned 5 years old last week. We first celebrated at Grandma and Grandpa Hobbs house. They made Tyler homemade pizza and his favorite....SALAD!!! Grandma also made Tyler's favorite dessert....gingersnap cookies. He was so spoiled. After dinner we opened presents.

This one was a 3-piece Spongebob puzzle from Jason.

Jason wanted to help open presents too.

A Transformers laptop!! Awesome!

Tyler really likes this. Its a TRIO snaps of SUPERMAN. One of his favorite superheroes.

Handsome little man!!

Its a bird, its a plane.....its SUPERMAN!!

Candles on his favorite cookie.

Too cute.

Tylers first day of PRE-SCHOOL!!!!

I can't believe how big my cute little Tyler is . He is such a big boy now. I am so happy for him that he was accepted into Head Start this year. He has really enjoyed school so far and doesn't complain about going at all. He goes 4 days a week for 4 hours at a time. His favorite things to do at school he said was color with coloring sticks. At home he really loves puzzles, Handy Manny, reading, and playing games on the computer. He is a very smart little boy. Some of the things he puts together in his head and figures out is amazing. Here are some pictures from his first day of school.

He is excited and has been waiting for school to start all summer long.

At the school.

Running ahead of me. I cried when I had to leave him. He's just becoming more and more independent everyday. I am excited to see how he grows and develops this next year at Head Start.

Love this picture of Cory and the boys walking to Tyler's classroom.

Jason

Ohhh look how big Jason is getting. I cannot believe it. He is just getting so big so fast.
Jason really likes to mimic whatever Tyler is doing. He just looks up to him so much. Jason is also quite the independent little man and does a lot on his own. He has decided to start using the potty...on his own. It is crazy to me since Tyler didn't want anything to do with the toilet until he was older. Jason also loves to play with his toys. He will dump a whole bucket of toys out...but he is a good cleaner. I have caught him jumping on Tyler's bed a few times and he just laughs and says "Dummp." Too cute. He also loves to play in the bathroom sink and the refrigerator...He is just into everything now.

Notice that Tyler's shirt matches in the background. AHhhh the joys of matching the boys outfits. I love it.

Too handsome.

Cory and Tyler go FISHING!!

A few weekends ago Cory and Tyler went fishing with Cory's boss Brandon and his kids, and another co-worker Brock fishing at Brock's parents pond. They had so much fun. Cory said that Tyler wasn't too interested in fishing itself, but like reeling the line in. They caught a few fish and they were delicious.

The ride there looks fun.

Madeline and Tyler at the pond.

Actually fishing.

I think Tyler had a really fun time. And a good daddy/son day. I had a great day at home with Jason too.

That lovely "I don't want a picture face."

Aren't they beautiful?
