Getting my CRAFT on!!!

Lately I have had the crafters bug....well..I have it all the time, but i've been motivated to try other things..

Like these awesome LEG WARMERS!!

They do look a little funny on a bigger kid.

Ya...very funny.

Cute Tyler just laughing at us.

Here are the finished ones....I am so addicted. I love them.

I also made this cute bag for Jason's Epi-pens.

Dad gave me an extra one of his CPAP bags...and look what I did. We are going to hang it up on the wall because it has a nice little loopy on the zipper.

And of course bows. I make about 3-10 a day. I have box downstairs full of them. I think that I may have a problem.

Girls Camp

A few weeks ago was girls camp..I wasn't able to spend the night the whole time but I was able to go up one night and then spend the night the next. I had fun. The Young Women had a lot of fun too. It was such a marvelous experience. I was a little nervous to spend the night since I am such a huge FAN of camping..ha ha. But, it wasn't so bad. One of the other leaders and I shared a tent and ended up just talking and laughing until 3:00 in the morning. I loved seeing the girls in this environment.

Extreme Makeover....Home Edition

Last week the Extreme Makeover team came to Pocatello to rebuild a home for someone in our community. I thought it was awesome! This type of stuff just doesn't happen here.

The bus is HUGE!!!

The finished house....I love the color. I can't wait to see it on TV in a few weeks too.

Handsome Ed and Jillian.

Paul joining Ed and Jillian at the benefit auction.

I love Pauly.

And....crazy Ty.

They auctioned off this sledge hammer for $750. Whoa. At one point I lifted my hand up to take a picture and they thought I was bidding. It was funny.

I am so excited.

What is that.......

Last week I had the opportunity to try Moose. Yes, moose. It was quite interesting. I also tried deer meat for the first time and thought I was going to gag. It was soooo gross. I didn't mind the moose though. It tasted pretty good. The picture above is of the moose.

Jason, Jason, Jason

Well, it is official. Jason has been diagnosed with being highly allergic to peanuts and tree nuts. We have known he's had problems for awhile now. We finally decided to take him to the allergist. He was a bit concerned with the size of the reaction to the prick test. He also told us not to take Jason to FIVE GUYS BURGER and FRIES....what? It was a sad day. I guess Cory and I will only be eating there on dates. He also prescribed and EPI-Pen that he said to carry everywhere. Just in case his reactions get worse. We have been careful not to give him anything with peanuts since we discovered his allergy a few months ago. Poor kid will never be able to try a snickers......

He is super adorable though!

Dave Matthews Band Concert

Last week we were able to go to one of our favorite bands concerts...The Dave Matthews Band. It was awesome. We have had the tickets since February so we were pretty excited. They were giving a free concert in Salt Lake. But, you still had to get tickets. We were able to get some and so we went with a few of our favorite friends.

The stage.

Misty and Tim, April and Andy, Jared and Denise, and Jack

Dave and Ashely, and US!!!

We are sooooo excited.

Jenni and Ted!! Do you see Dave in the background?

shooting

A few months ago we discovered my parents love for shooting. A secret they have kept from us for a while now. HA HA!!! Well, now that the secret is out, we were able to go with them to shoot some targets.

Good picture of Dad loading the gun.

Tyler was very interested in watching us and seeing what we were doing.

Here I go.....

This is my favorite gun.

Tyler and Jason mostly hung out in the van watching movies and playing with their toys. We put the back seat down so that there was lots of room. Usually there was an adult with them so we could take turns shooting and watching the boys. It was fun. Tyler liked to come watch once in awhile.

Mom...she is such a good shot. I can't believe it. She comes out and BANG, BANG, BANG...all the targets are down. HA!

I did not do good on the paper targets. I liked to shoot the water bottles.

AHHHH it is so loud.

Cory shooting Grandpa Hobbs old gun. I did not like that gun. It hurt.

The Boys

I've been playing around with the new face-centered movie feature in Picasa 3 and created a slideshow for each boy using pictures from the past six months or so. It's a cool feature, but it doesn't give you much control, at least that I could find, to specify where a picture is placed on screen or which order the pictures are shown in.

I uploaded these in 720p, so choose the HD version and watch it full screen if you're really feeling the Tyler and Jason love!

New to us VAN!!!!

Yess...it is true....we have now become members of the van club. We have recently purchased a 2003 Honda Odyssey. I love it.....I mean love it. It has been so wonderful to drive it. We have so much more room. I even have room now to give the young women a ride home after mutual. It is so nice to have. We are so grateful for it.

Two Honda's now. WOOT!!!

Family fun pictures

We borrowed Cory's Dad's fancy, dancy camera for a few days, and here are some really fun shots of the boys.

Yummy ICEE!!!

I love my handsome man!!!
Such a great picture!!
