Jason

I just really liked these pictures of Jason. I can't believe how fast he's growing up. He is almost 6 months old now and he weighs 21 pounds. What a big boy!! He's getting more aware and alert every day now. He loves watching Tyler and laughs at him when Tyler pays attention to him. He can go about 4 hours or more without nursing now and he eats rice cereal twice a day. He likes to be tickled on his shoulders and he really likes to do Patty Cake.

Rice Cereal

This is the first time we gave Jason rice cereal. He really didn't get how to eat it at first, but now, he's become a pro. He gets it pretty much twice a day now. He really likes it with apple juice.

Getting ready for the cereal. Jason looks like a pumpkin. It snowed this day and that sweatshirt was worn over Jason's clothes. We were freezing.

Such a sweet baby. Smiling and laughing while we are feeding him the cereal.

and...out it comes. He kept pushing it out of his mouth. Like I said, he does pretty good with it now. He just gets a little too excited and smears it around his face now. He loves it.

When Daddy gets home.

This is what happens when Cory gets home. Tyler runs and gives Cory a big hug and kiss, Cory changes Jason's diaper, while Tyler climbs all over him. I just sit there and laugh and laugh. Thank you Cory for helping with the boys when you get off work.

Matching shirts

So I know this is not really what you expected when you saw the title...Matching Shirts. Yes...I bought the boys matching Star Wars shirts. I saw them at Target and couldn't resist. They were 30% off. I usually don't spend this much on clothes for the boys, but don't they look so darn cute. Tyler always asks to wear his Star Wars shirt. THe bad hting is that it's almost getting too small to wear now. Cory introduced Tyler to Star Wars and he loves it. We haven't watched all of them with him yet. He still gets a little scared of the alien creatures. He does love it though. He can know a movie is Star Wars when the LUCAS FILMS logo comes on. Ha Ha.

Goofy Tyler

This is exactly how I smile in pictures. How funny is that.

What a goof-ball.

Here are just a few random pictures of Tyler being goofy. He really likes to play on the coffee table. He lines his toys up on it and he says he's taking a nap on it and grabs his blanket and lays on it. Now....if only he really would take a nap instead of pretend....my life would be so much better.

Look who found his tongue

How funny is that? Jason will just have his tongue sticking out all the time. He's such a cute. funny baby.

He has such a cute smile!!!

Jason also really likes to hold his hands out in front of him like this. It almost looks like he is praying.

Stuarts ad`

Like I mentioned in a past post, Amy, Cory's sister, took pictures of both the boys in their Halloween dog costumes. She is having a promotion for kids that if they come in on Halloween, you can get a deal on pictures and get candy and stuff like that. Well, she used the two boys and a girl who is in high school to portray 101 Dalmatians. The two boys were obviously dalmatians and the girl is Cruela Di Ville. The ad looks good, and I know Tyler loved being in his dog costume.

He is very photogenic today.
HA!

Tyler looks so excited to be a dog.

There's a better shot.

Here is the finished ad. Very cute dogs. I love Jason's open mouth smile. And Tyler is so cute. He hated having the black makeup on his nose. I mean hated it.

Random pictures.

This is an adorable picture of Jason's cute smile. He has been smiling more and more lately. I love it. He is such a happy baby. We are so glad to have him be a part of our family.

I am so cute.

Tyler wouldn't look at me for a picture. I think he's starting to get into the "I don't want my picture taken" state. He always looks away or covers his face when I want to take pictures of him.

This is an exception. He looked right at the camera, and this is what I got. His eyes look kind of freaky, don't you think?

Plum Jam

Yummy jam.

Yes, I know, this picture of my tasty bread doesn't look too good. I think it's our awesome orange 70's Tupperware plates that make it look so appetizing.

And hot cocoa to go with our bread.....in none other but our trusted Star Trek mug.

Mom and Dad usually go on a 7 mile walk a couple times a week, well, on day they found a plum tree that was on their path. They realized that it was part of an apartment complex. So, after their walk, they went back and picked some plums that were on the street side of the tree. Well, when Cory and I heard this news, we grabbed our flashlights and like a burglar in the night, we picked us some plums. Tyler and Jason had fallen asleep in their car seats, so Cory and I had our headlights on for a little more light, and we both had flashlights. I wish we would've had our camera. It was a pretty funny scene. I didn't really feel too bad because I think we are the only ones who picked the fruit off of the tree. There were so many plums in that tree and so many had already fallen off and were making our shoes sticky. We ended up making 17 jars of plum jam. If you haven't had plum jam, I recommend you do. It's pretty tasty.

Two cute boys

Jason is such a fun baby. He just sits there and smiles...well, smiles with spit-up and slober....still very cute though.

Tyler is getting so much better with him. He now will talk to him and he isn't too rough with him anymore.

They are just two cute boys.

Tyler loves Jason.

Jason is catching up to Tyler's big size. He is now 18.1 pounds. Crazy big kids I have.
