Girl Cousins

What cute little chefs!!!

Cute cousins.

All the cousins were downstairs playing in Grandma and Grandpa Miles' kitchen set. I had called them up for lunch, and this is how they arrived....all dressed up in aprons. I laughed pretty hard. Tyler looked so adorable in his blue apron. And Makayla's apron is just so small for her. They all love playing with each other though. And they all love the kitchen set.

Kids

This is what happens after you have kids......

You get kicked out of your own bed. A queen bed just doesn't seem all that big when there are 4 of us trying to sleep in it. Tyler really does well in his own bed, but once in awhile he likes to sneak in our room and we end up getting out of our bed because it's worth it for Tyler to sleep and not us.

Amazing Race 15

Who wants to audition with me??? Are there any takers out there....come on.....anyone..anyone. I think it would be so cool to audition. I made an offer to mom and dad....no word yet on if they want to do it or not. I would be so good on that show. Dad is in perfect shape and mom is in good shape too. They should do it. What more could they want...ha. Who is going to audition with me. If you are interested here are the details of the auditions....

So if you want to be on “The Amazing Race?” Grab your partner as a team from Eastern Idaho may be contestants next season! Sarah Schwabe and Tommy Noel from, Channel 3 Eyewitness News This Morning, will be holding auditions at the Hampton Inn in Idaho Falls (2500 Channing Way) on March 14th from Noon until 2pm. The morning team will tape your team’s audition. During the tryout, teams will say who they are and why they’d be perfect for “The Amazing Race.” The entries will then be sent to CBS.

Before the audition, read over the Eligibility Requirements, found here:

http://www.cbs.com/primetime/amazing_race/casting/Eligibility_Requirements.pdf (ignore the deadline date and requirements for the application package- we’ll take care of all that!)

Then print and fill out an application, found here:

http://www.cbs.com/primetime/amazing_race/casting/Application_Form.pdf

Bring your completed application to the Hampton Inn on the 14th, and be ready to record a two minute audition on tape.

Ignore the fact that it states Feb 24th, as the final date, because as the fact that the producers of Amazing Race have contacted our affiliate KIDK, its still possible to apply!

This is a rarity because the open casting auditions are normally held in larger cities, such as Miami, Seattle, Houston, LA, etc. So get your partner and come on out!

What in the world??

i
Look what I got in the mail today??? A huge yellow cardboard envelope that said Dated Material on it....I was like..oh no, what in the world can it be??? I laughed so hard. Then I showed Cory and he laughed his head of too.....That Obama.

Shrek and a bucket...what!

Tyler really likes to play downstairs when Cory is studying. Cory will usually put a show on for him while he plays. Well, Cory turned to check on Tyler, and he was just sitting in this red bucket watching Shrek. He just sat in it the whole time. I thought it was pretty funny. Ever since then, he's been sitting in that bucket while watching shows. I guess it's a good place to watch a cartoon.

Christmas sweaters

I found these adorable sweaters at Fred Meyer for 50% off. Then, there was an additional 60% off. I think it was meant to be. I found the two exact sizes I needed for next year. Yeah. I thought they were so stinking adorable. I just need to find the boys some matching black cords now.

Just Jason

As I mentioned before, I just can't believe how fast Jason has grown up. 9 months later...he is 27 pounds. Woosh. He crawls on all fours now. He can crawl at amazingly fast speeds...if there is something worth going for, like wrappers, magazines, dirty diapers, and open door to the basement. He is very stubborn as well. He is, for the most part an extremly happy baby. He and Tyler are starting to get along quite well. Jason just loves to laugh at and watch Tyler. Life is fun with two crazy boys.

Teeth

Look at that sharp tooth.

Sorry the pictures are so blurry.

My two beautiful bottom chompers.

Yes...it's true. Jason finally has teeth. His two bottom ones came in within days of each other and now, he has 4 more breaking through up top. He likes to bite...ouch. I am so excited that he is growing up and can eat more and more foods. With his new teeth, he loves graham crackers and of course, cereal. We only give him cheerios and kix now. The trix are just too sticky.

Our poor chair

I just thought everyone would get a kick out of the chair we've been using for a computer desk chair. A few weeks ago I fell over while sitting in the chair and I landed on the arm. It busted off into a million pieces. Its very sad when you go to prop yourself up, forget its missing an arm, lose your balance and almost fall over again. Its been like this for a few weeks now. To make matteers worse, our chair decided to get a rip on the seat. Do you think she's trying to tell us something??? Is it finally time to buy a new chair? I don't know if I'm ready for that kind of change...

Our chair, minus one arm rest.

Close-up of broken arm.

Close-up of rip in seat.

Our poor chair. She served us well. Our backs and our butts owe her one big thank-you.
