We can't help it - we just got thrown off track by Dan and Tammy's detour and we had to go on our own little home improvement detour. What can I say? TV in bed is nice.
The bedroom was already cable ready - I just had to change around the connections in the basement so DirecTV runs to that jack instead of the cable modem. The reason I say the project is only half finished is that I'll be running power and coax up behind the TV or on the ceiling and we want to find a bracket to hang the TiVo/DVD player under the TV instead of sitting them on a TV tray on the floor with cables running down the wall.
I like the before and after. TV in bed... that's got to be awesome.
ReplyDeleteIf you don't mind me asking, was you bedroom cable-ready or did you have to pull a "Dad" and re-cable as well?
I couldn't tell if that was a cable jack or a phone jack at the bottom of the picture.

ReplyDeleteI'm jealous. That is one sweet tv set-up there!
ReplyDeleteThat's funny guy. Get those cables in the wall though and then it will be a sweet looking project.
