Our baby burrito

Here is Jason swaddled up like a little burrito. He sleeps so much better when he's all wrapped up like this. He's in the middle of the boppy because he sleeps a little longer that way too. I think it's the comfort of being surrounded. Tyler slept like that too because of his horrible acid reflux. So far Jason hasn't had the reflux like Tyler did. We are so grateful for that. It was so nasty. At least we now know what a normal amount of spit up is.

A few big sqeezes

Like I said before, Tyler really likes giving Jason lots of hugs and kisses. I think it's so darn cute. He's such a good big brother. If Jason makes the tiniest peep, Tyler is worried. He says, "UH OH, Jason. Get him. Hold him, feed him Mommy. " It's very cute.

Funny Story

A few days after I was discharged from the hospital, I was back in the Emergency Room. AHHHH. I had been having pains in my right leg and so the doctor sent me to get an ultrasound on my legs. They didn't find any blood clots, but then, I started getting a horrible pain in my side and I couldn't breathe very well and then my shoulder started hurting too. So, then my doctor sent me to the E.R. for a cat scan. They didn't find anything there either. I'm glad it wasn't a blood clot. That would've been real bad. At least I'm still on Heparin for the next few weeks still, so that'll protect me.

Tyler and the park

These stairs are funny. They have holes that you can look down through when your walking over the bridge and Tyler was so freaked out by them. Whenever I took him there, he never crossed them, Cory got up there and led him along the bridge. And, now he'll actually cross it.

We've had some pretty crappy weather here in Pocatello lately and so we haven't been able to go out and play outside much. Cory gave me a break and took Tyler to Arctic Circle. They have an indoor play-yard and I know Tyler loved it. I've taken him there a few times in the winter time, but it's nice to have someplace to go when it's raining too. If the weather ever clears up, I'm going to start taking walks with the boys which will help Tyler burn some of his energy off and make him tired.

A few random pictures.

Here is a really cute picture of Tyler holding Jason.

This pumpkin outfit was Tyler's Halloween outfit for his first Halloween. It's our only newborn outfit that's not fleece ans super warm, so Jason gets to wear it in June.

Coming Home from the Hospital.

I was discharged from the hospital on Saturday, May 24. Cory dropped Tyler off at my parents house and then came and got me and Jason. We finalized Jason's name about 5 minutes before we left the hospital. Then, we went to mom and dad's and ate dinner, then went home and had a pretty good night. I'm now just starting to get used to the 1am and 3am feedings. It's a lot harder when Tyler comes into our room at those times too. We're doing good so far though.

Tyler and Jason

Tyler was so excited to come see me in the hospital everyday. Here are pictures of the first time Tyler met Jason. All he wanted to do was give Jason hugs and kisses and he did want to sit on his lap too. Thank goodness that that hasn't stuck. Tyler's been really good with Jason so far. Once in awhile Tyler pats Jason on the head a little too hard, or pulls on his arms and legs. He's learning to be soft and he's improved tremendously. I think he really likes having a baby brother.

The ZOO

What are the kids looking so intensely at?

Is it a bear, a lion, or an elephant...?

No, it's just a DUCK. One little duck can make these two, tow year olds ohh and ahh.

This picture was taken in a tepee.

I'm going to do a little catch-up really fast before I post more pictures of Jason. A week before Jason was born, I took Tyler to the Pocatello Zoo with Miss Kathy's pre-school and Grandma Miles, Aunt Melissa, and his cousins Allie and Kayla. I had never been to the Pocatello zoo before and didn't know that there was an up-hill track we had to take. It was crazy. I had the hardest time going downhill and keeping a hold of Tyler's stroller. Was it worth it.....for me, NO, but I know Tyler loved it. Maybe I'll like tit the next time we go.

Joaquin Manny Miles

No, we're not really going to name him Joaquin, but we're also not 100% sure what his name will be.

Right now Jason "Jace" Daniel Miles is the frontrunner.

New game

Our friends were in town over the weekend and they are huge gamers. They are the ones who introduced us to many of our favorites. Well, on Saturday and Sunday night we went and played games with 3 other couples. It was so much fun. We were introduced to 4 games we had never played before. One being Shadow Over Camelot. I thought this game was going to be so nerdy and geeky. But, I really liked it and asked for it for Mother's Day. I'm so excited. Jenni and Ted, are you ready to play games this weekend????? I think you guys will really like this one. Don't let the box and name discourage you from playing. It's so much fun.....and it's really not as complicated as it seems. Heck, I won the game the first time I played it. I was the bad guy though. I loved being the traitor of the bunch. It's so fun to be so mean.
