Sidewalk chalk

For Easter Tyler received a bunch of sidewalk chalk. A bucket full from Grandma Miles and then some Easter egg shaped ones from the Easter Bunny. We finally decided to try them out last week for Family Home Evening. It was a major hit. This was Tyler's first experience with sidewalk chalk and he loved it. It was quite messy though. He was pretty cute too, after we had drawn in a box on the sidewalk for awhile he would say, "New page." Meaning he wanted to draw in a square on the sidewalk that hadn't been drawn in yet. I thought it was funny. It was still a bit chilly to be outside at 8:00 at night drawing on the sidewalk, but it was fun.

Here is Cory teaching Tyler what to do.

They are having so much fun already.

I secretly think Cory is having more fun than Tyler.

Now Tyler is starting to get the hang of it.

What a beautiful masterpiece.

This round circle is supposed to be Abby. That's what Tyler kept saying. It's so cute.

I think he sat on every thing he drew.

Tyler is so happy.

  1. So cute! Grant and Blake love sidewalk chalk too. Our whole backyard is covered with it in the summer. You should try the sidewalk chalk paint. I thought I saw a recipe to make your own. Tyler would love it! It's a bit messier, but comes off really easy.
